Das Hotel war im Lauf und sehr sauber. Das personal war freundlich und bemüht - es war ruhig und stilvoll

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ruhige Lage, dafür nicht ganz zentral. Freundliches Personal.

Das Badewanne und das gesamte Badezimmer war ein etwas klein.

Kein herzlicher Empfang, zögerliche Mithilfe beim Gepäcktransport, Mitarbeiterinnen jeweils keine Begrüssung. Internet schlechte Datenübertragung. Die Lage befindet sich ausserhalb vom Zentrum, ca. 15 Min. zu Fuss.

Lage des Hotels: nur 5 Gehminuten in die Altstadt, ruhige Lage. Schöne, geräumige Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück.

Sauber und innen ziemlich frisch Renoviert!

Wenig Parkplätze

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt mit einem sehr guten (schottischen) Frühstück und einem schönen, modern eingerichteten Zimmer mit frisch renoviertem Tageslichtbad. Vom Hotel aus waren viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Parks, Restaurants und Cafés bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen - sogar ein kleiner Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe. Alles in allem ein hervorragendes Hotel, um das wirklich sehenswerte Edinburgh zu erkunden. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Lage ist sensationell.... Frühstück absolut i.O. und ausreichend!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße und es war extrem laut. Fenster geöffnet: Extrem laut und somit kaum Schlaf! Fenster geschlossen: Extrem warm im Zimmer und somit kaum Schlaf! Wer braucht aber schon ausreichend Schlaf auf einem Kurztrip in diese supertolle Stadt! ;-)

The staff were lovely, the place was great value for money. For just a little more than you'd pay in a hostel, you got a lot more. It was a lovely building in a great location.

Edinburgh City Hotel, is a fantastic hotel with friendly staff and great facilites, you we arrived late on a friday night and reception staff were very helpfull and we were still able to pre book our breakfast for the following morning despite the time for only 7pp. The hotel its self has a lot of history and is a great looking rusitc building, with very clean modern interiors. We would definitely stay again!

I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The staff were so polite and friendly. The price was astounding. I have never stayed in such a nice hotel that was such good value. The location was perfect for all the activities we had planned. I really liked the quirkiness of the courtyard and the hotel building. The room was huge and decorated really tastefully. I have been to edinburgh many times but the hotel made this trip my favorite. I will definatley return on my next visit.

All the staff are extremely polite and helpful. Good location.

The TV set on the wall of the dressing table where a mirror should have been. It would have been more relaxing for applying make-up and to style hair.

The tap was leaking of water. A bit noise at night.

Quiet central location. Comfortable clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Received print off of history of original use i.e. The Maternity Hospital. The best two nights sleep I have ever had in Edinburgh.

Nice, modern hotel in a good location, a short walk from the old town. Bus stop for Ocean Terminal (Royal Yacht) and Airport very near hotel.
